A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. 75K ohm, 5 Watt wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate on 8mA or less. -
Solder clips allow to you to attache wires or ballast resistors to the electodes of laser tubes. It is not recommended to solder directly to the tube. This set fits small laser tubes such as our HNT-1 tube with .36" diameter electrodes. This is a set of 2 clips. -
