HeNe Lasers

  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. 75K ohm, 5 Watt wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate on 8mA or less.
  • Solder clips allow to you to attache wires or ballast resistors to the electodes of laser tubes. It is not recommended to solder directly to the tube. This set fits small laser tubes such as our HNT-1 tube with .36" diameter electrodes. This is a set of 2 clips.
  • Male Alden style, high voltage connector with 2 feet (0.6M) wire leads. Silicon wire leads are rated at 30KVDC, 22AWG
  • Male Alden style high voltage connector with 6 feet (1.8M) of coax. Coax cable is rated at 15KVDC.
  • Alden style, high voltage extension cable with a male and female connector. Coax cable is 6 feet (1.8M) long and rated at 15KVDC.
  • Solder clips allow to you to attache wires or ballast resistors to the electodes of laser tubes. It is not recommended to solder directly to the tube. This set fits large laser tubes such as our HNT-5 tube with .37 to .42" diameter electrodes. They also have a #4 mounting hole.

This is a set of 2 clips.
