HeNe Parts

  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. 68K ohm, 3 Watt metal oxide ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate on 6.5mA or less
  • A Ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. 100K ohm, 2 Watt metal oxide ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate on 4.5mA or less.
  • Solder clips allow to you to attache wires or ballast resistors to the electodes of laser tubes. It is not recommended to solder directly to the tube. This set fits small laser tubes such as our HNT-1 tube with .36" diameter electrodes. This is a set of 2 clips.
  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. Dale NS-5-69, 20K ohm,  5 Watt, non-inductive wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate up to 15.8mA.
  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. 75K ohm, 5 Watt wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for HeNe laser tubes that operate on 8mA or less.
  • Nylon cradle mounts for 1 to 1.5" diameter laser tubes. Mounts accept a cable tie to secure the tube to the mount. Dimensions are 1" x .64" x .42" with a .20" diameter mounting hole. Set of 2 cradle mounts.
  • Solder clips allow to you to attache wires or ballast resistors to the electodes of laser tubes. It is not recommended to solder directly to the tube. This set fits large laser tubes such as our HNT-5 tube with .37 to .42" diameter electrodes. They also have a #4 mounting hole.

This is a set of 2 clips.

  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. Dale RS-10, 100K ohm, 10 Watt wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for large HeNe laser tubes that operate up to 10mA.
  • A ballast resistor is necessary to run a bare laser tube. (Lasers that are in a metal head will have one built in.) It must be placed in series with the anode lead within 3" of the tube. Dale CW-10, 50K ohm, 10 Watt wire wound ballast resistor. Recommended for large HeNe laser tubes that operate up to 14mA.
  • Nylon cradle mount for 1.5" to 2" diameter laser heads. Mounts accept a cable tie to secure the head to the mount. Dimensions are 1.65" x .73" x .63" with a .177" diameter mounting hole. Set of 2 cradle mounts.
