The lens can be adjusted with a small spanner wrench or flat blade screwdriver. The diode is held in place with a threaded retainer. The housing is segmented and can be used with or without the back section that covers the driver. A spanner wrench is needed to mount the diode and focus the lens. The LDA-1 is a brass adapter that converts a 5.6mm diameter base laser diode into a 9mm diameter base laser diode. It also places the emitter at the correct height. Note: The laser diode is a press fit into the adapter. -
